-t -- I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did -- a lot of the series was filmed outdoors (of course!) and the actors must have spent hours walking slowly, swinging metal detectors.
OTOH, I can't remember any closeups of their spades and shovels uncovering props -- just medium shots where the hole is dug or being dug, so that the actor could have just palmed the "find" (usually a worthless bit of metal).
(One of the leads is Toby Jones, in a non-villainous role for once, trying hard not to live a life of quiet desperation.)
Enjoy Charlotte, Gud.

First time back in the office since the big windstorm, and one of the rowhouses across from my window has about 3/4 of the roof peeled back, down to the wood decking. I hope they get a tarp up there before this afternoon.
If I got up at 5-ish for meetings that are not happening, I will be very put out.
As you should be. I would not be pleased with that scenario.
Oooh, just found out that the Detectorists show has a third season! Something to look forward to, definitely.
Oh! And I did find the news article about the fooled detectorists:

I really need to drag myself into the studio to finish editing some audio so that it can get installed tomorrow.
