We just bought a new tv and soundbar. Ours was really past its expiration date. New one is super fancy. I am going to lie to my sister/bookkeeper and tell her we bought datacenter equipment.
I'm watching Master Chef Junior--hey, I wanted to see Ramsey be nice-ish--and seeing these kids aged 9-13 diving into filet mignon with verve and confidence makes me wonder why anyone thinks teenagers older than this don't have the wherewithal to become activists.

We never see our neighbors in the winter (save for shoveling).
Yup, this. And we haven't had any huge storms where we have to do a whole brigade, so I've barely met the new people. Soon as it gets less awful, we're doing a driveway firepit. But really, we're all just hibernating right now.
