I hope your husband can get the job, Laura. Sounds cool.

That sounds like a good thing, Laura. Hope it works out!
Man, what a trip, Gud! Glad you made it through all that ok.
Good luck for your husband, Laura!
(I am going to regret this so much.)
The question at the crux of The Great Gerund War was whether or not the -age suffix gerunded or nouned a verb, as in, for example, the phrase "Willow kissage."
Battle lines were drawn. Descriptivists drew swords. Prescriptivists loosed arrows. Latin was invoked. And so began the dark times...
Pretty smooth trip overall. The fire alarm at the hotel was a little different, but I never felt like there was any sort of real danger. The airplane delay wasn't too bad. The only stressful part was trying to do emergency bug fixing that one night. Got it done though, just had to keep moving to new locations. The one problem with Yotel was that there wasn't really anyplace to work in that tiny room.

I totally don't remember that. Which may be for the best.
My flight was delayed because part of the plane fell off and they had to replace it, but it could have been worse.
!!!!!!!
Sorry you didn't have more time to explore and enjoy Boston.
I am going to regret this so much.
I think with so much rage overload in the world today it is hard to get worked up as much over grammar. IMO, but a good Gerund War could be considered a healthy distraction. YGFMV (I'll let you guess on that one)
Aw, nostalgia for the passions of our youth.
I have not fallen down today, so yay!
Woo Hoo! Upright -t is a good thing. Are you dizzy at all? Hope whatever it was is gone.
Timelies all!
Everybody's home today. Me, because the government closed. Gary, because his workplace follows the government's lead on closings. And Mr. S because his daycare/nursery school closed. So we're trying to figure out how to keep Mr. S occupied.
