Go, Theo! Good luck!
I think I remember reading the Gerund War but don't thank no I took part. And if it was on WX I think I just lurked. So I can just be gerund agnostic.
OTOH I fully support msbelle's sabbatical and bemoan my inability to vacay down that way. So very impractical for so many reasons, but tempting nonetheless.
Oh, and happy Purim, y'all. I have chosen my wine for the evening based on which bottle has a screw-top cap because I do not need any more challenges.
Good luck, Theo!
Ooh, I thought it might be Purim, because one of the "it's a culture, not a costume" posts just showed up on my Tumblr dashboard.
I like gerunds, but I can't imagine there is much to argue about. Verb as a noun, without exception, ending in -ing.
Katie and I have work obligations in June (Tampa and Atlanta for me and her respectively)and there are three days when we have no one to be with our children. (6/16-6/19). I'm at a loss about what to do .
Raise your hand if you just looked at your calendar to see if you're free then. (I'm not.)
Theo, that sounds great! Fingers crossed!

I seriously can't remember what the argument was about. I just remember that it happened, and it got heated.
Raise your hand if you just looked at your calendar to see if you're free then.
And checked flight options.
eta: stuff because wine
I think gerunds might actually be before my time! Or I was an asshole.
