In my experience, hanging a hammock between trees leads to the hammock being covered in stinging caterpillars part of the time. And growing trees until they are big enough to hold a hammock takes a while. Especially in a living room. I don't think Matt should have to deal with all that when a simple trip to the Hammock District will have him ready to relax.

I hardly ever even use my hammock and stand, and it's still the best thing I've ever bought.
I'm holding out for the Viking hammock, even if it's anachronistic.
As neat as that is, I think the simple bow curve stand will work better in the middle of my loft.
