I'm holding out for the Viking hammock, even if it's anachronistic.

As neat as that is, I think the simple bow curve stand will work better in the middle of my loft.
Hammocks are a privilege, not a right, if you don't have the suitable trees for a hammock, then you don't get to have a hammock.
My most recent hammocking was on one strung between 2 palm trees on a beach in the Keys, however I remain unopposed to porch, balcony, living room, basement, or any other variety of hammock. I do respect the purist NoiseDesign because one does have to know in this life where one draws the line. I have no lines apparently.
Anti-urbanist!
I have very few bright lines. This is one of them.
This is so exciting - it's been a while since we added something to The List!

OMG I can't believe you've engaged ND in hammock debate. This is one of the longstanding diehard disagreements in our lives together. ANY HAMMOCK IS A GOOD HAMMOCK.
Oh Matt, I was gonna say I have a different stand that is nice because it comes apart, but ah well. I definitely support hammock, be it on a stand or in a tree or on a porch or whatever. Always choose hammock. Unless it's cold out and you're trying to sleep. Then don't. I've learned that lesson. You need something under you to warm up or you will be chilled.
I love you to pieces Pix, but in this case you are wrong.
