In a completely frivolous change of subject, is there a good reason why I shouldn't buy this hammock stand & hammock to put up in front of my big window and nap in as the weather warms up? [link]
I'd be using Amazon gift cards that I've earned filling out surveys, so it's basically spending free money.
Is there ever a bad reason to get a hammock?
I will be gravely disappointed if you do not buy that hammock & stand, Matt.

I just had a "kiss rocks" moment - why would anyone want to stand in a hammo-- oh.
Seems like an essential purchase to me.
HAMMOCKS BELONG BETWEEN TREES, NOT ON STANDS.
Ahem. I might have strong feelings on this.
Or the stand should be carved like a Viking longship with dragon heads on the ends

In my experience, hanging a hammock between trees leads to the hammock being covered in stinging caterpillars part of the time. And growing trees until they are big enough to hold a hammock takes a while. Especially in a living room. I don't think Matt should have to deal with all that when a simple trip to the Hammock District will have him ready to relax.
