Giles! I accidentally killed Spike. That's okay, right?

It's a pretty comfortable small room.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's sounds like a pretty okay state of affairs.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Comfortable is good. And small is -- not necessarily bad.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am sorry we didn't make plans!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Saturday night Gary and I got a babysitter and went to the Harmony Sweepstakes Mid-Atlantic Regional.(A-capella competition that tends to lean towards barbershop/Sweet Adelines style) Yesterday Mr. S had a playdate with Gary's mom, and Gary and I went to see Black Panther. Good weekend.

Our wings are not tired.

Nice! Good babysitters and parents are such a wonderful thing. Yay for dates!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I just can'tt. I have no can.

The person I asked for ~ma for, went to her PCP today. Doc says she looks fine, all the reported symptoms of the last two weeks are consistent with having the flu, she's better, send her to her day program tomorrow. I let myself get so optimistic that I told the staff member I had lined up to stay with her during the day tomorrow to go ahead and make other plans. And then just now I got a call from the house, she threw up and fell out of bed.

I can handle two steps forward, one step back as a trajectory for recovery from illness. But by Grabthar's Hammer the next I accompany this person to the ER they will admit her and keep her until they take this shit seriously and figure out what in blue bloody blazes is wrong and fix it, or there will be brains splattered on their walls. (Whether from my head exploding or theirs, I can't say.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Dear docs, don't cross Windsparrow.

TJs had Irish soda bread today, so I'm doing laundry, catching up on interwebs and nibbling on bread. It's an exciting life I lead.
