I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for successful Harvest!

Congrats, Jess, I am so excited for you!

I tried pushing some books on the kids yesterday. I pushed Neverwhere on my daughter because I think she'd like it. My son is reading Sci-Fi lately so I'm pushing Dune, Neuromancer, and Snowcrash.

My son also is having a job interview for an internship at SAIC today.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How lovely to wake up to two excellent pieces of news this morning!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm finding several versions of SAIC online, Gud. Which one is your son hoping to intern with?

He's not thrilled with the company and is hoping for an offer from another company.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Your son must be like three years old and can't possibly be old enough to intern anywhere.

Because books.

It's my weekend after my third week of training (got 100 on my test!) and I wake up to all kinds of good news! That's a trend I can get behind.

Excellent news on the Harvest, JZ!

And really excellent news on the MA program, Jessica!

And very wonderful news that you were not having a heart attack, Strix!

Now if it would just stop raining. Although I guess that's better than snow.
