That seems reasonable to me, Strix, for all the use and joy you'd get from having it.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I think it is probably worth it for you, Strix, but I also think our representatives from Los Angeles and Florida aren't considering that you aren't using the pool 12 months where you are!
That's weird...there's a guy on *my* NextDoor group about a month ago who brought up a huge debate on the same topic!
It must be going around the internet.
Can we pass a law that lets me punch Paul Ryan? I know I could get solid bipartisan support for Ted Cruz, but might as well start with something more challenging.
Seconded.
It comforts me to think that at some point, the children who are growing up in this era of mass shootings will be adults and will vote these regulations into law. Eventually.
"Is fluoride bad?"
Ooh, let us know when it gets to chemtrails.
(Distractions are 100% necessary because every time I read another comment from a politician I have a rage blackout, and every time I read a statement from one of the kids or parents, I burst into tears. Take. All. Guns. Away. Period. Nobody. Fucking. Needs. A. Gun.)
Distractions are totally necessary.
Husband is on the phone, booking his travel to an in-person interview in Charlotte next week. He's on hold until there is a free "travel counselor." I can't imagine the meetings and focus groups that led to that terminology decision.
Someone brought in donuts today, which, yay, I was tempted stop and get myself a donut on my way in but talked myself out of it so this is nice for me. I just cannpt get used to the name of the shop though: Royal Jelly Donuts.
My senator proudly tweeted that he has an F from the NRA. Somewhere around the second shutdown, he ran out of fucks. Mazie has also been pretty awesome, but Brian is definitely the sassy one.
Distraction sounds good. Too many people around me with personal connections to Parkland. Found out my next door neighbor graduated from that school. I didn't know that until last night. Poor thing, she just had a baby less than a month ago and is pretty emotional.
I am heading to Cocoa Beach tomorrow for the Space Coast Seafood Festival and my DIL's birthday. She and son are there today touring the space stuff. They just sent me a picture of the SpaceX facility. Since they both work for Tesla I suggested they request a transfer.
Shhh, he told me he is giving her the ring tonight and popping the question officially. He didn't want to do it on Valentine's Day or her birthday, so today seems like the day. They already have a date picked for the wedding, but they keep saying they aren't officially engaged yet. Her parents and DH and I join them tomorrow and Sunday for the Seafood festival. We were supposed to see Willie Nelson tomorrow night but he got the flu so that part was canceled.
