Distraction sounds good. Too many people around me with personal connections to Parkland. Found out my next door neighbor graduated from that school. I didn't know that until last night. Poor thing, she just had a baby less than a month ago and is pretty emotional.

I am heading to Cocoa Beach tomorrow for the Space Coast Seafood Festival and my DIL's birthday. She and son are there today touring the space stuff. They just sent me a picture of the SpaceX facility. Since they both work for Tesla I suggested they request a transfer.

Shhh, he told me he is giving her the ring tonight and popping the question officially. He didn't want to do it on Valentine's Day or her birthday, so today seems like the day. They already have a date picked for the wedding, but they keep saying they aren't officially engaged yet. Her parents and DH and I join them tomorrow and Sunday for the Seafood festival. We were supposed to see Willie Nelson tomorrow night but he got the flu so that part was canceled.
