Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Laura, that was exactly the point I just made on FB to someone who was talking about "warning signs"

Our wings are not tired.

I don't understand what the authorities are supposed to do about someone who seems dangerous but hasn't broken any laws.

I know. And yet we have to find a way to solve this.

Totally jealous of the 22222 post! Two is my number.

I know. And yet we have to find a way to solve this.

I don't think there are any politically viable solutions.

If requiring a firearms license to own or purchase a firearm was politically viable, then I think there are things that could be done. Revoking or denying a license for domestic violence would be really helpful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The problem is that literally nothing is politically viable, apparently.

I wish you all could take advantage of the glorious distraction that is the conversation on my local NextDoor site, started with a simple question: "Is fluoride bad?"

That's what I found so frustrating about the bump-stocks. We can't even outlaw something that exists solely to get around existing laws? It's not I think outlawing bump-stocks is going to save a bunch of lives, it's just such a low bar and even that is too much.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

started with a simple question: "Is fluoride bad?"

Oh wow. My posts last night are almost incomprehensible. I must have been more out of it than I thought. I was having a terrible time with headaches and nosebleeds.
