I'm one of those liberals that does want to take all of their guns and ammunition away.

I don't even give a fuck about sensible gun laws anymore. I don't care about hunting. And I don't give a shit about recreational shooting.

This is the American recreation - gun massacre.

I had to quit with the news and am watching Little Women instead.

I remember the school being named for Ms Douglas. She was an environmentalist and writer and all round wonderful woman. I remember when she passed she was over 100 years old and much was made of her life and history locally. Now her name is associated with this horror.

OK, I realize this is totally petty, but Accounting had their monthly birthday thing today while I wasn't there. That seems...pointed. Perhaps taht is what they mean when they keep saying the company is like a family - passive aggressive and given to feuds.

My son had shown me pictures from friends earlier that was supposedly the shooter in progress, which I dismissed in my head as probably just random pictures. Then Bill Nelson just came on and said he was wearing a gas mask, and the pictures he showed me earlier was a kid with a gas mask. Ugh. Kids were talking pictures of the shooter.

I think I need to go read my book and get off the news.
