It is no surprise the number of times a vendor is selected because of the ability to use email or web access. Phones, shudder. The worst is when they have chat or email support and the answer is 'please call 800-xxx.xxxx'. I get super pissy at that point asking why they bother to have chat if the only function is to give me a phone number. Yes, it makes me lose patience.

sings lullaby to Dana. She wakes irritated at the sound of Laura's insufficiently caffeinated tones.
grrrrrrr
"I appreciate your thorough review" = "Boy, you had a lot of nitpicky comments I'm going to ignore."

I love that my doctor has started online visits for really simple stuff like sinus infections. The cost is $10 more than an in-office co-pay, but it's worth it for (1) not having to wait 3-7 days for an appointment, (2) not having to put on pants and leave the house, and (3) not having to actually interact with people. t edit And you can do an online visit on the weekend and still get an Rx called in that same weekend day. That shit is amazing.
And.... my house showing is put off 2 weeks. Which is great because I could really use the extra prep time. Also, the guy asked us to send him pictures and whatever info. We have a nice website for marketing the house, so I just need to update a couple things there. Also we have a new appraisal and lots of other good marketing materials. Dude is a national sales manager for a surgical supply company so he appreciates marketing materials and I can give him that to get him ready for the new showing date.

And since doctor's offices tend to be full of contagious people, that (3) isn't just an anti-social hermit thing. Nothing makes me more nervous than taking my kids to the doctor when there are nasties going around.
630am meeting that I really got nothing out of=the worst.
Trying to be productive but I am in bed with my computer. And some coffee, I did make coffee. I guess eventually I'll want breakfast and will get up? As long as I'm in bed I'm still tempted to go back to sleep, though so far the steady stream of emails is keeping me on task.
Home and back to work-ish.
Speaking of ick, I don't know what I caught over the weekend but it was likely a combo of airplane-ick and smoke-allergy-ick. I'm coughing and have a stuffy nose but no fever. I sent a note to the surgical office asking if this is going to be an issue for surgery on Thursday and I got a response that it shouldn't be an issue. I really want to get my foot fixed and be on the road to recovery ASAP.
Ok, back to the grindstone.
I woke up this morning with red itchy eyes. It is NOT COOL for me to be suffering spring allergies when it is still also flu season. STAY IN YOUR LANE, NATURE.
