Coding and Sleeping

Oh man, that sounds painful. Sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am at the point where I am too overwhelmed to get anything done, and it's a real problem. God willing, I will have time Thursday and Friday to plow through stuff. Of course I thought that last week, too.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We just completed a home repair project. I did not get on the board on time to request your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I also almost believed my husband when he said he wouldn't need my help ha ha ha ha.

However, the thing is fixed, the hot water is now consistent, and no one got hurt.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I feel like our husbands were cut from the same cloth.

Does Tim always say "This should be easy"?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We've had a few home improvement projects done recently. By which I mean, we hired someone to do them. (Gary knows his limits.)

Actually, about an hour into what should have been a 20-minute project, he invariably says "There is NOTHING I can't make more complicated." Because in his quest to optimize things, it takes about 5 times longer than it should. Honestly, for any given project I try to think of how long it could *possibly* take if the slowest person in the world were doing it, and then I triple that estimate...and I'm still usually wrong. It boggles my mind.

Art Crawl!!!

Apparently, we (northern Illinois) are expecting another 3-5 (or was that 1-3?) inches of snow tonight.

And I left home without gloves. . . I was running a little late and didn't have time to go back and search for them.

I hope I can get a ride home tonight.

Bright side? I got a book that just came out held for me.

Love the perqs.

That's what really counts.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I suspect I have some mild depression after the catastrophes of the last few years. It's not bad, but every once in a while I just don't wanna.

As I'm sure you already know, this is a real thing that happens. I am just coming to other side of it all, but for several years I felt like I was just chugging along and couldn't really work or do things at my normal pace. Please be kind and gentle with yourself. Don't beat yourself up
