Was just wondering what was on TV tonight, then went "Oh . . . right. Well, this is why I have Netflix." I think this is my eighth run through of Miss Fisher.

I plan on watching last night's Black Panther red carpet.
Timelies all!
Because schools opened two hours late(and the before care was closed), I got to work late enough to have to park in the garage a couple blocks away. Which meant walking in the cold, windy weather. I stopped for a chai latte before going to my desk.
Black Lightning is on the CW opposite the SOTU, and I am happy to direct my ratings to superheroes and away from the lying Cheeto.
I hadn't planned on watching anything, but I have to watch something just to divert ratings. It has been a rare occasion that I have missed the SOTU, but my health and tv screen will be better off by skipping.
Instead of the president, I'm watching The Resident, and oh my god, the writing on this show is SO BAD. I keep thinking scenes are being staged for another character's benefit, but no. It's just the writing. Still probably better than SotU.
I had a last dinner with the cousins and my aunt and uncle (who just got back to town last night) before heading out on a plane. I'm torn between looking up the SOtU now and knowing whatever bs it is I'll see it tomorrow...probably will wait for tomorrow.
I like Matt Czuchry and all, but the promos for that show looked like a MAD tv parody of one of Shonda Rhimes' shows.
I thought the show couldn't possibly be as bad as the ads, but it is worse!
I chose filing my taxes, this week's Victoria & Independent Lens.
I've spent most of my day reviewing more resumes and gobsmacked (though I shouldn't be) at Baltimore cops in the GTTF trial. Murderers, thieves, corrupt. It goes deep.
