I hadn't planned on watching anything, but I have to watch something just to divert ratings. It has been a rare occasion that I have missed the SOTU, but my health and tv screen will be better off by skipping.
Lydia: Its removal from Burma is a felony and when triggered it has the power to melt human eyeballs.
Giles: In that case I've severely underpriced it.

Instead of the president, I'm watching The Resident, and oh my god, the writing on this show is SO BAD. I keep thinking scenes are being staged for another character's benefit, but no. It's just the writing. Still probably better than SotU.

I had a last dinner with the cousins and my aunt and uncle (who just got back to town last night) before heading out on a plane. I'm torn between looking up the SOtU now and knowing whatever bs it is I'll see it tomorrow...probably will wait for tomorrow.

I like Matt Czuchry and all, but the promos for that show looked like a MAD tv parody of one of Shonda Rhimes' shows.

I've spent most of my day reviewing more resumes and gobsmacked (though I shouldn't be) at Baltimore cops in the GTTF trial. Murderers, thieves, corrupt. It goes deep.

Another vote for Barcelona. If you have time and can get there, it might be worthwhile to check out the Poble Espanyol. It features architecture from all over Spain, along with crafts and art galleries and such like. I picked up some local artwork when I was there.
