Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That baby horse is awfully soothing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, I don't know if you wear a watch, but just in case, here:

That *is* pretty great, though I haven't worn a watch in years.

brillig

The side mirrors on my car have defrosters in them. So lovely when the snow has been blowing horizontally straight into the mirrors for a couple of hours

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Gah, you'd think I'd learn that editing an article on testicular cancer means that I WILL SEE BALLS.

If you print it out and stick it up in your office you can tell everyone that it's balls to the wall in there.

Mmm, eighball says Saturday shift is viable. Now I gotta wait until Sunday.

There are people holed up in hotels who will have to fly home not sure if they'll get reimbursed. So my whine is small.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So I'm watching a live feed of the Senate on MSNBC with Brian Williams commenting on the impending shutdown. Strangely, I have not learned anything from this. I do have a headache, though. 18 minute to midnight, vote still open. It ain't happening, McConnell.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And we have shutdown. They're still on the Senate floor in huddles.

Welp, then it looks like I'm off the hook for shift work Monday. Regular work. Gotta wait until Sunday to see what the week looks like. And if I have to work a shift next Saturday.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The mental health community is moving away from the "Bi-polar I" and "Bi-Polar II" designations, and now consider it more on a spectrum, with hypomania and depression being hallmarks without accompanying manic phases. When I first talked with the new psych last year, he said, "Oh yeah, that's where you are", and really helpful. I just wonder if my meds decrease in efficiency when I'm under huge amounts of stress.
My mental health, let me tell you! Also, let me show you my tag of Pete Wentz is not an emotional role model.

My father, a bi-polar PTSDed veteran, said once that he mostly gets (or got. depends on his meds) manic epidoes sans the depression.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration
