Welp, then it looks like I'm off the hook for shift work Monday. Regular work. Gotta wait until Sunday to see what the week looks like. And if I have to work a shift next Saturday.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The mental health community is moving away from the "Bi-polar I" and "Bi-Polar II" designations, and now consider it more on a spectrum, with hypomania and depression being hallmarks without accompanying manic phases. When I first talked with the new psych last year, he said, "Oh yeah, that's where you are", and really helpful. I just wonder if my meds decrease in efficiency when I'm under huge amounts of stress.
My mental health, let me tell you! Also, let me show you my tag of Pete Wentz is not an emotional role model.

My father, a bi-polar PTSDed veteran, said once that he mostly gets (or got. depends on his meds) manic epidoes sans the depression.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Zen, you are my primary source for this news. Thanks for taking one for the team.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Great day today. It involved a trip to Healesville Sanctuary where we saw no less than seven echidnas. Finished up watching Jaynestown and Out of Gas with Biyi. As days go, it doesn't get much better than that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, -t, I'm happy to be your news commentator commentator!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was born in '78, I have a 10 year-old and a Subaru, and most moms in my kids' age group are 5-10 years older than me.

Our wings are not tired.

I was a very late starter at the time, my sisters grandchildren are older than my kids. Most of the parents at school events were young enough to be my kids and probably assumed I was the grandparent. It seems to have changed a lot. Woman have things on their list before birthin' babies.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sure that I'm older than most of the moms of the kids in Mr. S's school. I also know that I am technically old enough to be the mom of a number of my co-workers. That's just how things went.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Echidnas *and* Firefly? That is an *excellent* day!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went to a rally briefly and then to the supermarket, where I bought everything to make lentils.... except the lentils! Luckily, it's all stuff that will keep.
