It's young in this day and age, especially for college-educated women.
Yes, if this were the past sure. But they said '77! And of all my friends, while I have several that got married right out of college, and a few who had kids who are now maybe just hitting teenager, none of them had kids right away? It just seemed like a weird ad.
I have a lot of friends who had kids right out of high school. By the time of our 20th high school reunion they were empty nesters where all of their kids had started college.
But are those people Subaru's target market?
Apparently!
Getting my car smogged, finally. Please pass so I don't have to think about it anymore.
Sumi. Thanks for the baby horsie!
I thought 77 was a weird year, too. 75 or 73 seems more likely for the story they were telling. Of course my BFF is one of the older moms in the city school district at 44, so what do I know. But also several women at work had their first babies at 42!
I was born in 73, and definitely know people my age with kids from 2 to 20s, but 10-14 is the norm.
Steph, I don't know if you wear a watch, but just in case, here:

(I'm currently trying to convince myself I don't need it.)
That baby horse is awfully soothing.

That *is* pretty great, though I haven't worn a watch in years.
