On the Trump stats front, I'm much more convinced that he's lying about his height than his weight, but am REALLY ANNOYED by the athlete picture comparisons. Don't we use those athletes as part of the reason why BMI is BS? Muscle is heavy. And people can look all different ways at the same weight.
Anyway, I am also really annoyed to feel like I am defending the lying president.
I'm just happy I'm within a couple pounds of the Cheetoh in Chief and carry it much, much better despite being 3 inches shorter than he. Maybe I'm storing some of the weight in my normal human-sized hands?

YES. And doesn't everybody in the entertainment industry lie about their height? In real life men are almost always shorter than they look on TV and women are almost always taller.

If it were any other shithead I would agree, but if it pisses him off and makes his day worse then I am okay with it.
I have many annoyances, but it seems to vary wildly from day to day. Some days, every single thing. Fortunately today is not one of those days.
I just found an extension to hide other people's likes on Twitter. I think this will be a good thing for me. I don't have to fall down rabbit holes of other people's valid conversations that will nonetheless make me miserable.

Seriously. I mean, I get that sometimes you need a break from the real issues, but christ.
this is an easily provable lie though and that is where I get so much satisfaction in it. It is not clouded by my clear failings as a liberal snowflake emotional woman.

I couldn't care less about the president lying about his weight. He lies about everything. I am just tired of everyone being so reactive that the media have no problem whatsoever manipulating our attention away from things like the release of the Judiciary committee transcripts and the bombs that were inside it over to our shitty president calling other countries shitholes - and encouraging USians to loudly defend that he's right! (God, US voters are such assholes!) - or discussions of his weight.

So Gary gets a call this morning that the beforecare/early arrival care was closed, and that school would be starting at 9:15. Because Gary has a meeting in Northern Va at 8:30, I have to take Mr. S to school. Get there around 9 to see a sign in the front of the building that school is closed.(Apparently Montgomery County made a last minute decision to close schools today.) Brought Mr. S back home, checked my e-mail and found that the daycare will be open at 10. I decided to take the day off, even if Mr. S was in daycare. Bleah.
(Oh, and there was no phone call/e-mail from the school telling me of that decision.)
