I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Well, my nephew is done with his surgery, and all is well. He'll be back to school on Tuesday.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Glad to hear, Sheryl!

Coding and Sleeping

In 2018 you really shouldn't have a website that only works on Internet Explorer.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

In 2018 you really shouldn't have a website that only works on Internet Explorer.

My university just updated the course management system, and several features now only work on Firefox. (Like, changing the order of items in a menu. Trying that in any other browser makes the whole page start flashing, and the thing you're trying to move drops all the way to the bottom of the menu. In Firefox, it will let you drag and drop things like it would do in any browser before the update.)

Can you come smack our developers up the head with that?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I woke up early, my head full of all my work and too many meetings, came in early, looked at everything and confirmed that it is Too Much.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Despite that, I am making some progress on some things.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

In 2018 you really shouldn't have a website that only works on Internet Explorer.

To be fair, you shouldn't have had one in 2005 either.

I'm happy to report Gizmo used his litter box rather than his blanket or the floor under some furniture while he was shut in the corner office last night. He hasn't yet learned to cover his waste afterwards, but I'll take using a room deoderizer as a victory over having to scrub up cat pee with carpet cleaner. He also followed me back into the room for his breakfast without incident after being set free this morning, so he doesn't appear to be traumatized by being locked in there by himself for several hours.

He is showing an amazing facility for disappearing by squeezing into small spaces though. He disappeared several times yesterday, it took me way too long to find him in a closed 12' x 12' room when I came in, and he wriggled under the copier once he was out in the larger office.

Jesse is me, except that my alarm woke me up early so I could come in for meetings.
