Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think I saw tears in his eyes.

Our wings are not tired.

Headed to the bank for closing on a refinance of the house. Yay debt? It will allow me to pay off a bunch of stuff and do some improvements to the house. Banks are evil, but it seemed the practical option.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm having one of those mornings where I feel buried in a million things and even though I am plowing through things I still feel like it is too much and surely I am missing a million things and so I start crying.

I think work and life stuff is too jumbled in my head. I should probably find a stopping point and make to do lists so stuff is clearer.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry msbelle. Making lists sounds like a good idea.

I am not sick to my stomach this morning, hooray! Was just queasy enough to be not sure if eating was a good idea all weekend, for whatever reason.

I'm sorry msbelle. That sucks. (Ooh, autocorrect knows your name!) Monday's can be the worst—I realized I have my weekly meetings with my manager on Mondays and all too often am freaking out even though I'm not quite so stressed the rest of the week...

Coding and Sleeping

Ugh. Sorry msbelle, that's a rough way to start the week.

I like using Trello type lists (trello.com) to track tasks. It's kind of a software engineering thing, but they work for other stuff too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Instead of really focusing on my overwhelming to-do list, I'm easily distracted today. But YOU GUYS. I have a new favorite name! Worth Z. [lastname].

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So I haven't done shit for my actual job today, but

  • plumbers came and fixed the downstairs water (the pipes were frozen which caused a thingy to break)
  • the junk guys came and hauled away a bunch of junk (building materials left in our side yard by the previous owners)
  • had a pretty successful phone interview for potentially fun new job
  • FINALLY dropped off birthday cupcakes at my daughter's school (her birthday was Thursday, school was closed Th/F last week - they might be stale but I don't think a bunch of 7 year-olds will mind)
  • leaving in an hour to pick my son up for his orthodontist appt

That's enough, right? Do I get a nap now?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Goddamnit, I had a whole rant typed out (and validation for Jessica), and something ate it. Fuck you, computer and/or internet.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Rant, short version: Medication for migraines which was supposed to be covered by card from manufacturer has changed how they pay for it, without warning, resulting in it not being covered. Now I'm waiting for the doctor and manufacturer and insurance company to work it out.

Man, it was a much rantier rant before.
