Gah. My boss and the coworker who has just been promoted out of our department spent the last couple of hours of my workday jointly composing an email about how we need to get our act together but I could hear an awful lot of their discussion and the "whoever made the errors" mentioned in the email is clearly mostly if not entirely me. Really wish I'd taken that severance package right now.

I'm sick and sick enough to infect others (so I've been to work for 2 days to share the joy...er germs). I'm too sick and too coughy to sleep. But my doctor doesn't really want sick me to come in. So she called me back, listened to me cough over the phone, asked some questions and prescribed some cough syrup.

I missed sumi's post, but it sound like you got a job in a library, which seems perfect for you! And I know money was tight so this must be a load off your shoulders.
I think my New Years resolution is to interact more here. I always think posts, but I don't type them out on my phone. And my job is no longer one that I can post all day! I have work to do.
In disturbing news, I just had a dream that my uncle- the one who passed away was sent home from the nursing home because he was sexually harassing nurses. Which seems not unlikely, at least verbally and possibly grabbing a butt like George Bush the first. Which in real life my mom and aunt are defensive of- they think that kind of harassment is just part of the cost of being in the world.
