Back from my doctor's visit. My A1C hasn't changed, which is good, but it's still too high, which is bad. Still, given how many pastries I ate over the holidays, I'm please. What's odd is that somehow through all that I managed to lose nine pounds. I asked if they recalibrated their scale or something. Now I'm fighting with my id to keep from celebrating with an all-you-can-eat buffet. I did give into some cookies. Oh, and my pulse rate's down, too. Weird.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I'm anxious about the fact that my neighbor hasn't snowblowed yet, and there were footsteps to and from the garage. Did the snowblower finally crap out? Did he just go test it, but plans to run it later? What is happening?? But I don't really have standing to ask, I don't think.

Oh! Laura, I massaged coconut oil into my feet last night, oozing copious amounts on the unhappy ankle, and put on older socks I don't mind getting goopy. The ankle pain is noticeably lessened. It's not completely gone, but after one application? I'm impressed.

I am delighted to hear that! Rastafarian BIL is kinda crazy in many ways, but natural healing is one of his skills. Cooking and homemade wine another! I hope it continues to help. I need to do my knuckles again.
