If you can turn it into a regular day of resting and relaxing, that should be good, right?
Totally! In fact, I'll probably end up loving it.

So adorable!
I can't remember my Tumblr password and don't feel like changing it everywhere it is saved, so this is my note to self to put that video in when I get home.
LMM told the story on Ellen. It was totally his father's idea, hired a camera crew and everything.

Can not watch without wanting to adopt his dad. Adorable.
Thanksgiving this year is also Christmas for my extended family thanks to a cousin's almost impenetrable schedule. So I'll get to see everyone including said cousin, exchange gifts, and as a bonus have a legitimate excuse to turn down the offer of Thanksgiving at best friend's house (they are not good cooks, and their many, many dogs get everywhere; mmm undercooked ham with dog hair!).
I have no plans for Thanksgiving yet. I really need to get on that.
Been good to hang out with my bestie. Saturday I was feeling pretty down, but Sunday felt a bit better.
We are doing Thanksgiving at home for the first time in years! We will have a whopping 5 people (usually it is just Kelly and me). It is getting exciting - all the planning and who will be cooking what.
Laura, cleaning and decluttering sounds great to me right now. My house is full of stuff! I wish you all the best with this next step.
Windsparrow, I meant to say, thanks for what you wrote. It helped. Every little bit of light in the darkness helps. Thanks.
Such great news, Callaluna!
Hooray for the New Boy, Amy!
Because we're a family of three living far from our extended families, we've sort of accidentally adopted a tradition of going out to eat on Thanksgiving--something we're far from alone in, since the restaurants we go do are always packed. It's nice--relaxing, we don't have to deal with leftovers, and so on.
