Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that's good to read, Sue.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just got back from Ouise's memorial which was lovely, and jammed packed with those who loved her. It was filed with lots of love for Louise and music, which she also loved. Afterwards Elena, her DH and I went for a drink to remember Louise.

After ita died, Ouise posted about a duet she sang for ita: Ouise "ita's thread" Jan 16, 2015 11:15:41 am PST.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, shrift!

Consuela, the trip sounds fantastic!

Since the truth is fluid in the Trump White House, I feel okay with choosing to believe everything in Wolff's book, even if it isn't factually true. The stuff about Trump's bedroom sounds right in line with his paranoia, germophobia, and general neuroticism, though.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's going to be interesting watching staffers try to figure out exactly which incidents they're supposed to deny.

Our wings are not tired.

It is good that people come together to comfort each other.

I have close to zero real beliefs about any hereafter, but I do like the notion that there is a special Buffista heaven where our departed loved ones and pets are laughing and playing together. If so I am sure she was warmly greeted.

Aw, that's lovely.

The last time I saw Louise, she had a music lesson during our visit, because she was hoping to record some songs. Though she was pretty weak--getting excited while talking made her winded--when she sang, her voice was beautiful and strong. Elena and I were sitting in the next room amazed at the sound coming through the door. I have been thinking about that so much the last couple of weeks.

I'm so glad you reported back to us, Sue.

She has a couple videos of her singing with her choir in various configurations on her FB page. Lovely to listen to her sing.

Sue, that's a wonderful memory of her.
