I just got back from Ouise's memorial which was lovely, and jammed packed with those who loved her.
It is good that people come together to comfort each other.
After ita died, Ouise posted about a duet she sang for ita
I have close to zero real beliefs about any hereafter, but I do like the notion that there is a special Buffista heaven where our departed loved ones and pets are laughing and playing together. If so I am sure she was warmly greeted.

Aw, that's lovely.
The last time I saw Louise, she had a music lesson during our visit, because she was hoping to record some songs. Though she was pretty weak--getting excited while talking made her winded--when she sang, her voice was beautiful and strong. Elena and I were sitting in the next room amazed at the sound coming through the door. I have been thinking about that so much the last couple of weeks.

I'm so glad you reported back to us, Sue.

She has a couple videos of her singing with her choir in various configurations on her FB page. Lovely to listen to her sing.
Sue, that's a wonderful memory of her.
My darlings, I hold you in my heart, and I believe that love never dies. It may change, but it never dies. Each moment of love, each thought of love, each act of love, each sensation of love is a pebble dropped into the clear waters of the eternal, the ripples flow outward forever, neverending.
Oh, Sue and Tep, my heart just grew three sizes. So much love.

What a beautiful tribute
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I took the day off to sleep in, be lazy, read, listen to music, and watch cartoons. I'm still recovering, but I don't need cold medicine to function now, so I get to have a beer with dinner. I have Porter that will pair well with chocolate cake.
RGB
I did all the RGB stretches from my RGB workout book the other night and I was tired after. There are like 5 sections of strength and balance exercises after the stretching in the book and RGB does that workout twice a week, so yeah, I'm out of shape.
Ouise
Thank you for the update Sue. What wonderful memories to share. I am glad so many got together.
Happy Birthday Shrift!! It is also my father's birthday, 75! and I think old poster marthac's birthday.
So this is totally random, but: when I went to the paint-and-sip thing with my family, I said something about my natural style being more Rothko, and then had to immediately google to see if I was right, and I was! I don't know how I've soaked up a tiny bit of art knowledge over the years, but I have.
