Latest update! Probably not flu, but more likely a 24-hour GI bug. Which, again, we have all been exposed to. Hopefully, if it hits either one of us, it will wait until after tonight's plane flight home.
Did I mention that the cousin got here a day early because he messed up the schedule, and the in-laws were expecting him tonight, not last night?
It's almost over! Except for side-effects.
No-bug~ma, Dana. I don't know about this cousin, seems like a troublemaker. And not the fun kind. I mean, may also be the fun kind but the data I have so far does not support that conclusion.
Oh jeez, Dana.
Oh jeez, msbelle.
I totaled my mother's car in high school, technically, but I think they still repaired it.
Flight, scheduled for 8:05, already delayed to 8:55. Doesn't matter, we're getting on the damn airport shuttle in 20 minutes (airport is an hour plus away).
I have successfully done a video appointment with my, shoot what is her title? My medication/prescription wrangler. Connection was not great, the wifi signal was not super strong, but nice not to have to drive all the way up there for a 15 minute cisit. Of course, now I have to drive all the way up there to pick up my refills, but it's a 24 hour pharmacy so maybe I can squeeze it in tonight after rehearsal (which is after my haircut. I got more than a little overscheduled today...and there's a yoga class tonight I kinda wanted to try to get to but that is TOO MUCH SELF STOP IT)
On the way to the airport!
Because I cannot say it anywhere else, I hate property tax time!!! I have had to borrow money from my parents. As it is I'll be holding my breathe on my bank balance. I have actual cash in an account that I cannot get into my bank in time for this payment. If nothing unexpected hits I'll be fine.
It should be noted that I am financially irresponsible which is why I am in this place. See post yesterday of $30 spent on unnecessary things. I might take things back tomorrow. I've put taxes on my credit card the last 2 years which is part of my thousands of $$ in debt ongoing issue. The parents know nothing of that.
You are not alone. I am completely financially irresponsible. Always have been. That was why I was so impressed with the kids holding off on buying the house because they wanted to build up their savings. I was like, savings, what that?
The worst part is the tons of money being irresponsible has cost me. Yet, still not really changing my ways.
That said, msbelle, I think you are doing an incredible job. I can't even imagine trying to navigate it all without the support of DH and my family. It ain't easy for the 99.8%.
