Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, oh, start your comment with "Well, actually..."

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm walking away from that argument. It's on a post that one of my favorite teachers from high school posted, and she says that he's a distant cousin of hers who only comments on her posts when he's got some political point to make, and I just don't see this going anywhere productive.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So lovely, WindSparrow!

Many happy returns, Hil! Enjoy asserting or proving or whatever. walking away.

I had a lot of stuff I would have liked to have gotten done today and did not. Just had no will to do anything except cocoon with my stories and make soup. At least I have soup, now, I guess. And I'm going to take a peek at the moon now and again n the morning, official full moon is at something like 5am here, and while I don't really know how the precise time will differ from other times tonight, it's easy enough for me to hit it so I might as well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'm here to plead with y'all to help me stop my rage blackout from the Bannon news. Seriously, I have to back away tonight.

Will the latest Star Trek movie keep things light and fluffy? Suggestions?

I think I'm going to end up with a house full of craft projects pretty soon -- working on craft stuff seems to be the best way for me to stem off an anxiety attack at the moment. I'm learning how to do fancy lettering now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Best wishes for your father, Sail. I'm sorry.

msbelle, I'm sorry about your kitty, too.

~ma for everyone, times are rough.

As usual I'm with Steph, I don't know anyone who voted for Trump, but my FB and Twitter feeds are full of ppl processing their rage and grief, and I get sucked into it and I don't want to be; my own feelings are all I can process right now. I'm dealing with anxiety by turning off the news and shutting down the computer, and strangely I'm finding there are more hours in the day than there used to be. Today I slept almost all day, without guilt, went to the grocery, made myself a grilled cheese sandwich, and caught up on Supergirl, which I'm enjoying very much. So I managed to forget the world for a day, and that was a relief.
