I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today's my last day before vacation. I finished the big thing I had to do and immediately ran out of any motivation.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am going to! But not until Monday.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Had our department pot luck and white elephant exchange. If I'm still here next year, I'll know the coveted gifts are alcohol.

Our wings are not tired.

Coveted gifts are often alcohol.

Awesome to be appreciated and recognized, shrift!!

Still in major stress mode here. I know it is all coming to a head, but I find myself grinding my teeth all day. Really, life is good, just a lot of balls in the air, and burning the candle at both ends, and/or add your favorite metaphor.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

In Things I learned Today that I Wish I Didn't Know, someone wrote a new set of lyrics to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" about Xmas/Jesus' birth. I guess somebody actually listened to the original lyrics...

I will be so happy when the holiday is over and I don't have to hear any more Xmas songs.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Excellent news, shrift!

I want to hear everybody's good news as it arrives.
