I loved the Murderbiscuit Aldi tree! I had #1 son put a couple wreaths up for me on the garage lamps, and that has been it. Just too much. (I hope the New Orleans plan happens, that would be fun)
I am up past my bedtime watching election returns. Yes, my first desire is for a landslide, but it will be satisfying if the write-in vote exceeds the difference between Jones and Moore. Feeling hopeful. Can't stop watching.
Holy shit, I think Jones won.
That's what my news just said.
NYT and Washington Post have called it. My hopes for humanity restored. (and I stick my tongue out at my RED Alabama relatives)
NYT says: Doug Jones has won the election, according to A.P.
I'm still pretty worked up about all the voter suppression stories though.
What differentiates a InstantPot from a regular slow cooker? I've almost decided to get a sous vide cooker for my brother and his other half. Does anyone have a preferred model/brand for that?
I've moved on from feeling relieved to feeling smug. I can't wait to read all of the reaction pieces tomorrow.
What differentiates a InstantPot from a regular slow cooker?
It's a combo device -- it can work as a slow cooker, pressure cooker, rice cooker, (sometimes) yogurt maker, and so on in one device.
Plus, according to the recipes I've been looking at, you can sauté things in it?
Also, I hate recipe blogger websites. So much.
I won't relax on the election until the creep concedes. I expect challenges and recount demands.
ION, ham steak and unagi (sushi) sauce is really very delicious.
If my SIL is awake, pretty sure she is screaming in delight. She hates bama politics, but it's their home and life now.
