It is cold though.
I have s ton of paperwork to try and get through.
Working from home today was a good call -- between yesterday when I decided to do so and this morning, they upgraded the forecast from flurries with zero accumulation between 12 & 2, to half an inch of accumulation around 3, and as we all know, that means DEATH AND DOOM AND DESTRUCTION AND AT-ATs IN THE STREETS around here.
I am @@, but also I am home with kitties and blankets and theoretically focusing on getting shit done.
Unfortunately, many here in Utah are snickering at the panic in the South. Others of us have sympathy for your unfamiliarity with how to cope.
I think I am getting all this weather as rain. It's a topsy turvy world.
Snow and more than expected. Byhr time I decided I should go home I felt the roads were too bad. I'm staying in a hotel i have to drive up hill. I hope I can find dinner at subway tonight
Stay safe askye. And everyone.
The downside of us buying a house without a bathtub (literally the ONLY nonnegotiable item on my list--go figure) is that we are redoing the master bath. The upside is that the new bathroom is going to have one of those cool free-standing tubs! I just picked it out: [link] Also sage green glass subway tile walls. Such luxury!
Oh, how lovely, Scrappy!
Glad to hear from LA-istas!
Scrappy the tub is gorgeous.
I had Lisah and Bob hugs yesterday and it was most excellent!
That was after spending a couple extra unexpected hours at the doctors... in part because everyone forgot/didn't tell him I was in an exam room. I looked up from writing a short story about someone abandoned in an exam room over a holiday weekend to realize I'd been in there for almost two hours (thank you, subconscious). Then I drove for two hours that turned into three... it was a theme.
Sleeping forever now.
