You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That does sound very pleasant, Calli.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Strangely, the clocks seem to have reset and synchronized themselves.

I swear, I'm not crazy.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Time was out of joint for a while there, Dana. It happens.

Amy Howe just tweeted that it sounded like Justice Kennedy was leaning toward Masterpiece Cakeshop, which makes me feel ill.

Kennedy sent mixed messages: At one point, told Solicitor General that a win for cakeshop could lead to an affront to the gay community, but also suggested Colorado was too hostile to religion.

Glitch in the Matrix

Ooh, I got a half hour of double time yesterday Sunday. Neat.

ETA I have a strong feeling that I am not going to know what day of the week it is until 2018

I don't know the particulars of the cake case very well. My feeling is that if the baker refuses service because of what he is creating then that seems like a legit issue, but if the baker is refusing service because of who he is creating a cake for then that is discrimination.

The record in this case says it was a 20 second conversation: customers inquire about a cake, owner says he doesn't do cakes for same-sex couples.

That cake shop? About a couple of miles from me. I have told my family I'm happy with grocery store or Costco cakes. Please don't send them business.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Skipping to the end to let y'all know that my office cafeteria today is serving something they call a muffaletta, and I just wanted to let you know it is NOT. (Wrong bread, wrong meat, weird extra veggies, and no olives. It's basically an Italian sub on a ciabatta roll.)
