Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

AHAHAHAHA.

Short version: The Senate Republicans accidentally got rid of a bunch of deductions that corporations could take, because they jammed the fucking bill through so quickly that no one noticed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

having something I couldn't see apply enough force to a light switch to make it audibly click on

I hear you. Like, you're standing there mentally running through all the normal plausible explanations and, there aren't any...? I know that feeling well. There are some regular ordinary forces that can make things move "by themselves" - even a water faucet turning itself on can be because of high water pressure in the pipes. But to make a light switch click, I know nothing that can do that except physical pressure. Welcome to the "Wish I Could Not Believe" Club.

Dana, HAHAHA They rammed through tax reform to please their billionaire donors, messed it up because THEY didn't read it either, and wound up costing their donors MORE money!

Oh, my goodness. That's some instant karma in action.

Yeah, I've seen water glasses slide by themselves across tables and started to freak out before realizing condensation had gathered around them on the not-quite-level table surface and allowed gravity to move them. Gravity's not going to flip a switch UP into the on position, though.

Exactly.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

PEOPLE SPENDING MONEY ON BOOZE, WOMEN, AND MOVIES ARE GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY!!!

It's a stupid argument. Booze companies and all of movie production from theaters to actors should jump on that quote.

This was my 2nd reaction. That's money going back into local economies! The 1st was the all too common, FFS.

Timelies all!

Have put Mr. S to bed. Now I have a cat demanding attention.
