I am absolutely not surprised about Keillor, he always seemed like White Privilege Smuggy McSmuggerson. Not a huge leap (for me) to Significant Lechery.

Oh, my god, says person on Facebook! Where will this end? If 6 out of ten women have been harassed, will all of these men have to resign? The country can't handle 25% unemployment!
Yes, I think to myself, that's definitely the big problem right now. The potential looming unemployment of a mob of sexual harassers.
Not a shock, no.
Gah. I spent like an hour matching up receipts to this one company credit card statement only to see as I was winding it up that someone else marked it verified 10 minutes before (so, while I was working on it). What a friggin' waste of time.
I thought late-stage capitalism liked highish unemployment.
Most of these men are being fired when their careers are waning; Keillor was already semi-retired, for example. The men with actual power are still being protected.

Hahahastab.

Like.... who was it? Someone really prominent with a lot of accusers but no consequences...?? OH RIGHT. THE FUCKING PRESIDENT./
I love (for varying definitions of "love") when a man hears about someone being accused of sexual harassment/assault/whatever and says "well, he never did that to ME" ... as though it would be likely.
And the ones who want to know why women don't act immediately.
For instance - a number of years ago I worked in an office where there was one man who would tell disgusting sexual jokes, make constant comments about women's purported sexual activities, often when there were VIPs present. Women complained and were brushed off. At one point, there was a "peer review" of the office's business practices - where several officers of companies who'd been trained in the process and were aware of business best practices would come in, review how the office was working and make recommendations. They were unanimous that this particular man was a lawsuit waiting to happen ... but nothing was ever done (except women leaving or, if staying, avoiding him as much as possible). He left in his own good time.
Same Shiley!
Well, good for them! Put that money to good use!

Every time another man is busted for sexual harassment yet that self-admitted motherfucking sexual predator is allowed to stay in the Oval Office, I get closer and closer to TOTAL HULK RAGE. Burn it all down.
