I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Ack, I'm at my salon and might get blocked in by a parade.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Wow, they must be really excited about your new haircut.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Haircut parade is the best!

I'm under a "dense fog advisory" until 11 am. Sounds like I should stay in bed.

ETA I actually looked out a window and see no fog at all so I don't know what to do!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Staying in bed is always the safe choice.

Punishingly Intricate

Sending love, -t. That's so hard.

I am totally zoning out and can't figure out what chore type things I should do today. What would bring the biggest sense of accomplishment??

Aw fuck, certainty growing this isn't just leaf allergies, but a cold. Temp regulation is getting a little wonky. And I have to do leaves, clean, and drain the expansion tank this weekend. Gonna be fun!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Listening to Seanan McGuire talk about the grimness of 80s cartoons.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

When we moved, we packed four of those pod things, to clear out our house for staging. This was way back in July. Did we keep a list of contents, so we knew what was in each of them? Not so much. They've been in storage out here until we had room to pick them up. We picked up the first one today and spent a good part of the half hour drive there wondering what would be in it. and We just spent over an hour in the freezing cold unpacking it. Luckily, our winter coats and hats were part of the contents—just in time. Lots and lots of books, too!
