When we moved, we packed four of those pod things, to clear out our house for staging. This was way back in July. Did we keep a list of contents, so we knew what was in each of them? Not so much. They've been in storage out here until we had room to pick them up. We picked up the first one today and spent a good part of the half hour drive there wondering what would be in it. and We just spent over an hour in the freezing cold unpacking it. Luckily, our winter coats and hats were part of the contents—just in time. Lots and lots of books, too!
And I just slept thru my swimtime. So that's how I'm doing.
I'm sorry, Sarameg. This is not the time to have a cold.
OTOH, I got most of the Xmas shopping done for the boys & my brother & already know what I'm getting SIL. Parents are a who knows, I'll just make donations and get mom's booklist.
Probably earliest I've done it.
Am applying bourbon.
Last morning on my trip—we will head to the airport as soon as we are done eating breakfast here. Will be glad to be home, though not glad to head back to work.
I am peeved that I got a coupon offer for really affordable Andrew Christian underwear and then found out that their sizes only go up to a 36 waist.
Dear Andrew Christian, 34-36 is not a Men's Xtra Large in any size scale I've ever seen. Just admit that you don't make clothes for anyone bigger than a Medium.
Matt, that sucks. Although I am happy that I seem to be able to buy clothing for these male college kids with 24-28 inch waists nowadays.
Dana- Book of Mormon is so much more cynical than Bernstein's mass. Although I guess I can see it being familiar with both. The Mass seems so much more earnest in sensibility, while Book of Mormon seems like it is mocking things, and then yet, the holy is still there. I mean, they are both good, and I would not suggest taking a work trip to either...

Yeah, that's pretty much the biggest point of commonality I can think of.
I'm definitely on the side of Christmas lists. With my family living so far away, it would be really hard for me to keep track of what they want and need. Does my nephew want those socks with robots on them? Of course! And is he a grown man with a (robotics) job who has already bought himself four pair? Very possibly. A list is the only way to know for sure.
