Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm so sorry, -t. I'm glad you have so many good memories with him.

Dana, fingers are crossed.

Stupid DOS attack making my life hell at the moment. Customer with issues (always my fault, not the Russians). Took several tries to get here! Can't get into FB, that one I'll blame on China.

Yep. I am the one that ended up cluing in Comcast in my area. My DNS settings are all correct, I've rebooted both modem/router and computer, and I'm getting DNS lookup errors. Would you like me to do the rest of your job for you?

Our wings are not tired.

I'm rooting for the dream job! And I suddenly have an idea for how to fund Buffista Island.

Indeed.

Herding cats for fun

Pets for Walter. I'm sorry this is happening.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I appreciate all the good thoughts. Tomorrow is my mom's 75th birthday (!) so it'll be all about her, but Wednesday and Thursday are all Walter's. Aside from work, alas, but he's used to sleeping all day when I'm at work.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My coworker is not at this 6:45AM meeting. How nice for her.

Okay, she just joined by phone, and her internet is down. I guess that's fair.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The dating robot is back! And worried about me, because he hasn't heard from me?!?!?!?

Oh, dating robot, please recalibrate your parameters for interacting with humans.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, -t.

Dating robot needs to find a new, perhaps somewhat robotic, object of interest.
