May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Our wings are not tired.

I love my extra hour day dearly, but would be fine with losing it if it meant no more silly DST.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Toddlers do not understand DST. No extra hour here.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, Zoe wakes with the sun and doesn't care one bit about the clock. The extra hour is rather theoretical.

Loki doesn't either. We debated it off & on for 2 hrs. And I stayed up late. And now he's asleep on me, the jerk.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hope you get Monday off to decompress.

I really wish I had taken Monday! I was not thinking, but have too much to do at work anyway.

Cute trick: in the middle of the npr piece on the EMP hoax, power flickered enough to require several clocks to be reset and router rebooted.

I didn't roll straight out of bed and into the shower this am because I was going to go shovel out the garage (quite literally, a lot of leaf debris is there) and it will be gross (rat droppings, at least one mummified mouse) but I'm sitting here and it still isn't happening, so maybe I'll shower, nix the garage cleaning and go get sopes and posole.

Because books.

I love my neighbor. He's this big guy who runs the rec center across town, a recovering addict, an obsessive container gardener, and he's seriously afraid of animals (like, even a puppy). I had to come out an scare a fox out of our parking lot the other night so he could get to his car. And I just walked by his door and he's blasting the Jackson 5. Good, good guy.
