Oh wait, it looks like there is a new credit for parents and non-child dependents. That would change it to a $300 tax reduction. I stand corrected. Still, not much of a cut.
Yeah, this seems to be really brutal for people in expensive places to live.
I don't have a mortgage and don't itemize, so I'm the one who benefits? That's ridiculous and I don't care for it.
If you don't itemize and don't have a bunch of dependents, then you're going to do okay. Now if you have a lot of pass-through income and pay the alternative minimum tax you are going to come out aces.
But yesterday I got to PET AN OTTER!! There was a rabbit cafe that ALSO has otters!! Probably awful and I humane. But an otter!!!
WHERE WHERE WHERE? Is that cafe close to Seattle? Do they always have otters?
(Now I need to find a red panda cafe.)

I think meara is in Tokyo right now?
Ahaha, my FSA benefits debit card got terminated when I changed positions. Which I find out from my autoload to my Clipper card getting declined (I have a commuter benefit that goes through the same card (my copay for therapy was declined a couple of weeks ago, but I kinda thought I might have just used all my funds because my medical expenses have increased this year)). Now if I can figure out what that $51 "contribution adjustment" is...

Right. I even knew that, but pre-coffee brain is not helpful.
I still want to pet an otter. And a red panda.
Hot take: sweet potatoes do not belong in desserts. I don't care how sweet they are.
Sorry, Dana, can't back you up on that one. Sweet potato pie is delicious.
Timelies all!
Soon I will get a bath ready for Mr. S. Fun, fun, fun...
