Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Ugh, Kevin Spacey. That is not how you handle that. At all.

I'm sorry about Strega.

I'm hoping that Seth Abramson is right, but I am waiting for 45 and his cohorts to somehow slither their way out of any substantial repercussions.

aurelia, if you open those pages in an incognito browser, you should be able to sidestep the limit.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Got roped into that sucky responsibility first thing, then had a status meeting where my coworker twice repeated exactly what I'd said, without acknowledging that I'd said it. I hate everything.

I need the stories of Trump's tantrums to start leaking. You know they're happening.

Oh, and she managed to work in a reference to how she was working SO MUCH overtime, which is her own damn fault, since she takes nine times as long to do anything as it should take.

He hasn't tweeted since his "NO COLLUSION" Tweet (which was followed pretty quickly by Mueller going "Oh, did I forget to mention George Papadopoulos, who was arrested in July and charged 25 days ago and might have been wearing a wire?"). He is shitting his pants right now. As he should be.

Fuck her, Dana. No patience for those kind of people.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Monday, why must you be so Monday?

I sent an e-mail to my contracts person asking about PO A. She responded with a comment about Vendor B and C - neither of which are related to PO A. I sent back a note saying I was confused, I wasn't aware of any issues with B and C. Then I listed the outstanding contracts related items that are not yet complete, asking for a full status update.

Her response "Don't worry about it". WTF?????

I passed it off to my project manager and am going to stay out of that mess. Ugh.

Librarian Warlord

I am checking all the legal sites for analysis, and there was a story about how Hasbro is trying to trademark the scent of Play-Doh. Is it Teppy that turns perfume into Play-Doh? Perhaps you can block their application.

Hasbro describes the scent Play-Doh® in its federal trademark application the way a sommelier would describe the "notes" of a fine wine — a "unique scent formed through the combination of a sweet, slightly musky, vanilla-like fragrance, with slight overtones of cherry, and the natural smell of a salted, wheat-based dough."

Only ones from BPAL. But without fail, every single one of their scents turned to Play-Doh on me. It's a weirdly specific superpower to have.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, I never knew Stephanie well but that is a blow.

I'm currently Juror 16. Meep. 32-day trial!

One of the lawyers asked me to explain my opinion on corporations. I was like "do we have that much time?" But I assured them I could be fair.

No questions about Eratosthenes or Al Khwarizmi, though.
