Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Thrive to spite them

I've given up Twitter but I assume Trump had a rage tweet fest. And he'll be doubling down on the whole I don't know him thing. I assume Fox can't get away with not covering this but I also assume some of their people are going to try and make this look like it's about Clinton.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Goddamnit, I got roped into something by my boss, and I knew it was going to happen, and I really don't want to do it, and I have no reason for refusing. So now, every two weeks, I have to run a fucking 7AM meeting, instead of just attending.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ugh, that's ducks, Dana.

You know what, autocorrect? I'm gonna leave it. Ducking ducks.

You know, I hadn't really believed we were in the End Times until now: Kevin Spacey Comes Out

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think I already knew a) Kevin Spacey was gay and b) about the incident with Anthony Rapp. I read Rapp's memoir so maybe it was in there. But I definitely had Kevin Spacey on my mental list of creeps.

For Kevin Spacey, declaring, "I'm coming out as a pedophile" probably doesn't have the same ring to it as coming out as gay...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Spacey is getting no mercy on Twitter. I thought the statement was actually good. I see that the coming out was not the right time and I am really mad that that is what the media is focusing on.

I am having a hard time with the many many tweets I saw that said something to the effect of "how dare he say he does not remember this because he was drunk", there are a lot of things I have been told about that I do not remember from college. I drank a lot, and for a period of time was drinking to the point of blacking out once every week or so. I was also averaging about 3-4 hours of sleep and honestly just whole chunks of more than a year are not at all clear. I can't tell you what classes I took without looking at a transcript. Certainly cannot tell you professor names. I can't even remember names of everyone I slept with, and I initiated all of my hook-ups.

I also know that I was not hooking up with high school boys or younger, or more importantly wasn't even associating with them, much less inviting them to situations where I'd be drunk.

It's not the same, but in some ways it is. Nothing excuses it, but things do happen that people don't remember.

edited for better choice or words - that was a bad unintended double meaning.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm so sorry to hear that, Cindy. Should someone post to the Facebook group as well?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yiiiiikes. I feel like not remembering it rings more like, "I threw myself on top of so many teenagers, who can remember them all!" And let's remember what a 14 year old boy looks like -- a child. It's not like a 16 year old girl, who might look like a grownup.

Also, kind of devastated about Strega, even though I didn't even know her.
