Yes, it's totally important for me to get a good night's sleep. In fact, my boss texted me after I had already left for work, and said I didn't need to come in today. If I weren't already planted here, with my hot coffee in hand, I'd leave. I probably will leave as soon as I answer a few emails, and submit my travel for reimbursement, and leave new, updated out of office messages on my voice mail and email.

On a vaguely related note, my sister and BIL are going to be moving to Greenville, SC!

I am pouting because I wanted them to move to Seattle. Not that my BIL actually had any interviews here, but whatever! I sent him jobs (that were actually jobs he'd take!) and I don't know if he applied for any. :(

Thanks. I am still at work, but I contacted the board member I'm carpooling to Greenville with tomorrow, and she offered to drive (YAS!), and she has a conference call until noon, so she's not picking me up until 12:30, so I can hopefully be at home the whole time the plumber is at my place, which will be good for kitty anxiety. Also, more time to sleep, do laundry, and pack.

And the NPR person was SO nice about me backing out of the pledge drive.

I also think I've found an orthopedist in NY, which is my go-to when I can't find a doctor I like around here. It may be extreme, but after bouncing around between neurologists who couldn't get my seizures under control for years (and that's why I broke my kneecap in the first place, which led to the torn meniscus) Dr. Devinsky changed my life. I never liked my orthopedist down here, so I feel like skipping the painful searching process and finding a Magic NYC Doctor, even if that isn't really a thing. I like to think that it's a thing.

meara, Greenville, SC is actually a really cute town! I'll take some pictures and post them to FB tomorrow. If it weren't far away from everything I want to go to and everyone I know, I wouldn't mind living there.

Came home, and my knee finally gave up for good. I'm back on crutches. On the plus side, my landlord noticed that my deadbolt sticks and replaced it.

On the minus side, blah. I can't even get upset. Things are just going to suck for a while.

That sucks, amyth. Do you need anything tonight? I can run out for food, tp, whatever.
