OMG this day is so long!
Possibly eating will help with that. I have somehow eaten less than 500 calories so far today. Hello emergency stash of ramen!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Timelies all!
My folks are here, and I'm fighting a cold. Joy.
Garage Sale day #1 was mostly a bust. My parents sold a couple of big things (a bike and a camping hutch/table) but everything else was little stuff and not much of that. Very few people. We put out more signs this afternoon, so fingers are crossing that we have a lot of people tomorrow. We have a lot of clothes this time which we did not last time. And we still have 4 sets of dishes and quite a bit of glassware which is going to be a bear to move to thrifts stores because it all has to be wrapped and the boxes are heavy and whine whine whine.
I showered as soon as I got home, hot and sweaty and my feet hurt.
msbelle, do you normally get a lot of people on a Friday? It seems like Saturday and Sunday would be the big days, since more people are off work then.
Hope you get lots of buyers tomorrow.
I would prefer not to check this stack of invoices I just entered against the batch list to be sure I entered them correctly. This does not seem like the best use of my time right now. The best use of my time would, I suspect, be napping.
Steph - it is weird here, Thursday is dealers, but we never open on Thurs. Friday is a lot of stay at home people and retirees. Sat will be the busiest usually. But yes, oddly down here sales are rarely just Sat/Sun.
Friday garage sales are huge here too. We have lived here over 9 years and it still surprises me.
Ha! I have more invoices to enter. That'll eat up my remaining time and is slightly less annoying than checking the batch report.
Timelies all.
What with all the...poop...going on in the world, country, and my corner (northern CA), I needed a break from all the negativity and awfulness on FB and the news, and suddenly remembered that since it's October, I should check in to see what the lovely Buffistas are up to. I rarely check in these days, and never posted a whole lot even way back when, but y'all are still a touchstone of sanity and love in this world, and I'm so glad to know that y'all are still going strong. Peace and love and whatever other -ma is desired!
Yard sales are Friday and Saturday in Utah, because commerce on Sunday is heathen, and you're supposed to be in church, and you'll be greatly judged by all the people driving to the stores on their way from church (yes, irony).
