it is that the director and designers are seeming to have never spoken about the cues and the design concept
Yeah, that's a problem.
I feel like this might be how we get Skynet.
From Jesse blocking him? I just want to be clear on the inciting incident. Not that I would ask Jesse not to block him because honestly, in our current situation Skynet might be a mercy.
Burrell, I'm familiar with that feeling if not the specifics of the situation. I hope it doesn't drag on too long and that things work out in your favor.
I'm sorry, Jilli. It's probably not much comfort to know that's just his pattern when it happens to you.
I'm sorry, Jilli. That's sad. I thought you two were solid. And I totally get that you can't go around saying that stuff to just anyone.
Not so much Jesse blocking dating robot => Skynet as dating robot's creepy persistence seems symptomatic of the sort of inherent dysfunction we may be inadvertently introducing into emerging consciousnesses by example, more or less, that lead to robots from the future hunting down young women in the past and ignoring time travel paradoxes.
At this point, I'm willing to welcome our robot overlords.
So I got a cat! And then I lost him. I mean, he's somewhere in the apartment, but god knows where. I've looked under things!
-t, yes the attempts to let AIs "learn" from internet conversations is clearly a terrible idea, broadly speaking. If they were learning from us the future would be much more entertaining and civil.
Kitty!
Tell us more about cat. Name? Coloring? Cuteness level?
His name is Buddy (for now?), he's black and white, and super cute! But was also super riled up in the shelter, and yowled and peed in the crate on the way home, so I guess I'm giving him his space for the moment...
I lured him out with treats and tried to show him the litter box and food/water, but he's still basically avoiding me so I'm not sure he got it. He'll figure it out, right?
Mine did immediately as half-grown kittens, so I think all that will come very naturally to most cats.
