Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Surprise! He just showed! I was like, dang, you're having a long day and he told me his woes of having to pick up deliveries of a truck that broke near him, and that I was one of the last 5, all in this hood, and how all he wanted was pizza. Wished him pizza and a better day tomorrow & got a big thank you.

Sometimes just listening sympathetically is a good.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So very tired. (Toddler wrangling takes it out of you.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dagnabbit! I just put together my new tv stand, and I was so sure I had all the parts in the right places, and...nope! So I have to take the whole damn thing back apart. I'm not sure I can bear it tonight.

On the upside, I had skipped most of the screws holding the back on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh thank goodness, I realized it was an easy fix.

Nice! Reminds me I need to reorganize my spare bits collection.

Yay, Jesse! It looks really nice!

I was inspired by y'all to order a bookshelf thing to match the one I had on the other side, and last night I mostly put it together and today I cut holes in the back of the thing so the outlet and the light switches are usable!

I need a serious shoe rack.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have been putting off getting bookcases, as we keep thinking the barristers bookcases of our dreams are going to show up on Craigslist or at a garage sale. I miss my books, though, and want to get them out of purgatory and up on some shelves.

Scrappy, maybe folding bookcases could serve as a temporary solution until you find the ones you want? They'd store easily when you're done with them. I've been very happy with some similar to these: [link]
