Poking my head in (1st day back at work) to catch up and say I was really hoping Dana's coworker said something about the dashboard light.
Love y'all! Later!
In the ongoing saga of the house we've been trying to get, it looks like the shady agent did successfully get it into escrow with another buyer, so we most likely have lost the house. The only way this would change is if, by some miracle, the offer falls apart with the other buyer and the house drops out of escrow.
Dear lord, house buying is complicated.
Sorry to hear that, Noise. Fingers crossed for miracle!
That sucks, ND. I'll cross my fingers, too.
beekaytee, ack! Is the reason on the notice something along the lines of him changing the property's use? What's the date he's given you?
I'm am sorry, ND! Such a frustrating ordeal. I hope something surprising happens.
How can the agent sell the house to other buyers against the wishes of the sellers that want to accept your offer?
Housing~ma to ND & Pix and beekaytee.
Yeah, what Matt's asking. Because I don't know about California, but in Washington, the seller has to actually sign off on the offer for it to be accepted and the house to go into escrow, so the seller in this case is sounding kind of sketch, too.
