Settling-in~ma, -t! It sounds not too bad so far.
Those are some long-ass days, sara.
In TV theme song news, I had to drive my Sara to school this morning, and on the way home, the DJ on one station was playing not only '70s theme songs, but also "Sunshine Day" from the Brady Bunch. That was an earworm that was slow to die, let me tell you.
The inverse square law is what's coming into play here. Every time you double the distance between a sound source and a microphone you lose 6dB, so when you are dealing with the very short distances involved between a mic element and an actor's mouth when mounting a microphone on the head, a difference as small as one inch can have a very large impact regarding gain before feedback.

Totally. Aww :)
Did y'all see this "honest trailer" for STTNG? It's freaking hilarious. Oh man.
Palm punches! So many concerts! Worf getting his ass kicked! Acting!
And that awful ripoff of Anne Rice's The Witching Hour gets the calling out it deserves! I believe the Honest Trailers people and I are of one mind regarding which episode of TNG is the Worst Ever.
Pretty sure everyone agrees that Sub Rosa is the worst episode ever. My only contenders would be the one from first season where the dark-skinned people treat women like property and force Yar to fight the dude's wife, and the one with Joe Piscopo.
imdb makes Shades of Grey to be the lowest-rated episode ever, on 3.4. Sub Rosa is right behind it with 5.0.
Shades of Gray gets a break from me because it was a result of a writers' strike. There is no excuse for Sub Rosa.
I don't even remember Shades of Grey, but Sub Rosa is unforgettable, unfortunately. The trailer total awesome.
