I have never encountered condoms in the workplace
I have dealt with so many condoms in the workplace. Really, numbers in the thousands.
As another coworker said to me, "Hey, unused. This is nothing like the Serial Pooper."
BRB cackling forever.
-t, I hope the transition is easy. I wish you didn't have to make these changes, though.
I don't have condom stories from the bakery. But I do have surprisingly large numbers of grown-up people who want me to cut their food for them.
The scuttlebutt is that the LATAM team is being dissolved, so that's probably why my position was cut, since that was one of my responsibilities. Which makes me feel a little better. OTOH, my send that upper management does not actually know either what I do or what I want but will make decisions based on what they think is reinforced. Meh
At any rate, start tomorrow in Vallejo at 9 with the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Which is not work I would prefer to do, but I will probably be good at it. Which is a particular kind of work suffering that I have been in before. But maybe it will be better than I think, who knows? Trying to keep an open mind.
AFAIK, zero contact with condoms in any state.
My work excitement was everyone getting urine tested today. A partially used container of cannibas oil and smoker was found in one of the company trucks that we all have access to.
That sounds like a barrel of fun.
Good luck, -t!
You guys, I finally did the two pieces of writing I've been supposed to be doing for weeks and weeks now! Now I can leave them printed out to look at with fresh eyes tomorrow.
Pop quiz as I sit here doing the bakery's social media with the old-time TV station on:
Which is the best?
a) the Barney Miller theme
b) the Rockford Files theme
c) the M*A*S*H theme
Edited to add: the Sanford & Son theme could (should?) probably replace M*A*S*H, to keep it all bluesy/jazzy.
